Such a person gains cosmic abilities and can channel the high vibrations of spiritual spheres into daily life. This manifests as clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience. All these processes occur in the proper order and at a safe pace so as not to damage the psyche. If the Moon in the twelfth house is afflicted, however, this may not be the case, depending heavily on the integration of the previous houses. An afflicted twelfth house causes alienation from society, escapism (drugs), life on the fringes, and an obsessive need to help others. With negative aspects to the Moon, this need is particularly strong, leading the individual to literally "inflict good," thereby damaging their karma by making others dependent on their assistance and obligating them to return the favor.
