What is the I Ching Oracle
The I Ching or Book of Changes is an ancient Chinese divination system estimated to be 4,000 years old.
The central part consists of 64 hexagrams, representing 64 different basic situations, and is used as an oracle.
I Ching is designed more to address issues and situations. A consultation with the Book of Changes helps us understand a current, often tricky situation and thus make the right decision to ensure the best possible future for us.
How to Make I Ching Hexagram
You will need three coins.
Toss the coins.
Heads equals three
Tails equals two
From the table below, draw a line depending on the total. Add up the resulting value of toss.
3x tail = 6
2x tail, 1x head = 7
2x head, 1x tail = 8
3x head = 9
Toss the coins five more times, drawing each new line above the last. The first toss creates a hexagram from the bottom.
Hexagram example:
-- -- = 8
-- -- = 8
- x - = 6
----- = 7
--o-- = 9
----- = 7
The result is 797688
